Dick Savidge
Dick joined Ministry Coaching in 2011 as President. For the past 30 years, Dick has committed his life to
Dick is committed to serving Christian leaders and he has held positions of senior leadership within Generous Giving, InterVarsity and at Young Life as Vice-President of Advancement. Previously, Dick was Director of Counseling and Pastoral Care at Cherry Hills Community Church, a 4,000 member congregation in Colorado. As well, Dick managed his own private marriage and family counseling practice and founded La Vie Counseling center, growing it to become Southern California’s largest Christian counseling center. Dick is a life-coach and also pours into pastors through his weekend, intensive retreats.
Dick holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor in Humanities from Miami University. Dick is ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Dick and his wife Nancy live in Breckenridge, CO. They have two sons and love snowsports, fly fishing, good books and meals with friends.
Dan Foster
Throughout his career with Ministry Coaching International and Building Champions, Dan has successfully helped ministry leaders, executives and small business owners increase their influence, make better decisions, and achieve the results they desire.
Dan has a true gift for helping leaders to see their everyday challenges and opportunities in light of God’s Kingdom and their organization’s core values. He loves helping people live and lead with greater intentionality and purpose.
In his previous career, Dan led two successful real estate offices in Oregon. His teams earned awards for customer service, sales revenue, and overall operational excellence. He currently serves on the board of Dad Tired, a non-profit ministry for Dads who are learning to lead their families well. Dan’s ministry experience includes church planting, elder leadership, international missions, and being a teaching pastor. He loves helping ministry leaders articulate their vision, develop strategies, and use their unique spiritual gifting to love, lead, and serve everyone they encounter.
Dan earned his MBA at George Fox University in 2005. He is currently one of the teaching pastors at Saturate Church in Newberg, Oregon. Dan and his wife Sarah live in Newberg where they are raising their two teenage children, Emma and Jackson. In his free time, Dan enjoys writing, researching family history, being outdoors, and traveling with his family.
Gavin Kerr
Gavin helps his clients and their organizations find meaning, purpose, and a path to success in their work. He believes a leader’s primary job is to connect people to their purpose, to empower them to do worthwhile work, and lead them in achieving their goals. Gavin works alongside his clients to help them fulfill their aspirations while leading their organizations to success.
Before joining Ministry Coaching International and Building Champions, Gavin served as President and CEO of the Inglis Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enabling people with disabilities and those who care for them to live life to the fullest. Partnering with the board and leadership team, Gavin dramatically enhanced the organization by improving financial sustainability, implementing a successful culture change initiative, and instituting leadership development and succession planning processes.
Gavin is the co-founder of Ryan’s Case for Smiles whose mission is to walk alongside families as they cope with the trauma of childhood illness or injury at 364 hospitals across North America. The Case for Smiles community understands that this is a difficult time for families and children and they provide a variety of resources to assist them in dealing with the stresses of this experience while building resilience to avoid long term traumatic stress.
Throughout his career, Gavin has held many CEO, COO, Vice-President, and Director roles in the areas of marketing, human resources, general management, and strategic planning. He led the health care mission of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia which provides exceptional care to over 1M patient visits per year at 43 locations, with a team of 10,000 healthcare professionals and over $1B in revenue. He also served as President and CEO of Mercy Health System, overseeing five hospitals, physician practices, academic programs, and home care services serving the poorest communities in the Philadelphia region while employing over 5,000 staff. Gavin served as the Chief HR Officer at University of Pennsylvania Health System where he reported to the CEO of a $2.1B academic health system. Gavin has served on numerous not for profit and for profit boards where he developed extensive experience in board leadership and fund raising. He began his career in a variety of marketing, planning and HR roles at PepsiCo and MONY Financial Services. Gavin earned a Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary.
In his role with MCI, Gavin desires to help leaders and their organizations achieve greatness while becoming their best selves. He recognizes that business and personal success is built upon a foundation of trust. And, he believes trust is earned by seeking to understand, acting with integrity, and leading with courage.
